Energy-Touched
With the Energysent myth being circulated throughout the world, another myth popped up throughout societies on the planet. The myth went something like this:
When directly influenced by the mana generated by an
Energysent
, mortal beings may morph into entities twisted by the
Circle.
An energy-touched being gains traits of an Energysent in a less concentrated volume. They may start to take on a different appearance. An ice Draken that is flame-touched may have fire exclusive upgrades for example. It is said that becoming energy touched erases all of the eye upgrades of a being. Their eyes look more akin to that of the Energysent that influenced them.
Energy-touched may also learn magic of the energy they were influenced by, but nowhere near to the extent that a being born in that element or an Energysent can. Energy-touched display intermediate level skill in controlling the element that warped them.
Stories of energy-touched often depict them as twisted monsters that have no place in society or the universe. Folklore often ends with the energy-touched in question being eradicated. To put it simply, they are killed.
In stories where they are not killed, they are depicted as being servants to the Energysent that twisted them. Over time, this depiction became more popular to tell to children.
