Nostraumbus are large, volatile creatures, rivaling even Mountain Pieshu in height! They are stubborn, violent, and have no issue letting you know when they’re upset. While it is not known exactly where they originate from, they seem to be well equipped for cold weather and high altitudes!

Behavior

These powerful mounts have no qualms against attacking and attempting to eat finley. It is not a difficult task considering the myriad weapons they have at their disposal - sharp teeth, claws, fire-breath, and a long whip-like tail! They also seem to be quite adept at flying, despite their size. It is recommended to avoid combat with them at all costs!
Despite their mean disposition, they seem to be quite social with their own kind, and will show affection to other Nostraumbus, or even share food when there is excess.

Appearance

Nostras can vary a bit in appearance, and there are no visible distinguishing factors between males and females. Colors and physical traits can vary from one creature to the next. The most notable variations are a presence or lack of horns, and a distinguished tail tip, depending on the individual. Horn shapes can vary considerably. Nostraumbus can possess a variety of tail tips, ranging from un-tipped, to spined or spiked, fluffed, or even a membranous tail tip.
All Nostras possess sharp teeth, two pairs of wings, a long tail, a thick pelt, a large, puffy mane, four clawed toes on both feet, and a colorful dewlap.

Diet

Nostraumbus are primarily carnivores, though they seem to have a bit of a sweet tooth for fruits!
