Albinos are finley who were born with a mutation in their being that removes most if not all pigment from their entire body, including their whiskers, gems, and palm stars. The lack of pigment leaves their bodies and eyes very vulnerable to the bright sunlight, and so they are usually kept out of direct sunlight unless very protected to avoid eye injury or sunburn, as suncreams and sunglasses arent always effective considering the lack of natural protection given.
For the most part, Albinistic finley lead normal lives with normal lifespans, and can otherwise function like the others around them with no problems, except for in magic.
The mutation that causes their lack of pigmentation also causes a severe issue with absorbing and casting the mana around them due to their mana organs also being affected by this pigment mutation, which leads to a lot of mana burn cases amongst all species, but most prevalently documented in draken due to their strong ties with mana.
The highest level of magic that an Albinistic finley has been documented to cast is up to the third level, with higher levels causing steadily progressing mana burn, and even a comatose like state in weaker individuals, such as dual draken. This is being researched into more by doctors around Klaedon to see if there is any way to increase the odds of higher casting and quality of life for all the affected individuals.
Albinistic finley in historical contexts have been heralded both as warnings from Greater Circles, and of (unofficially) being blessed by Creation, which brings much joy to the communities the child is born into.
Albino individuals can come in one of two types. Complete, or Incomplete.
- Complete Albinos have no markings on their body whatsoever, and have a solid, nearly pure white appearance that appears very lightly tinted with another color, with pink/red, or purple/pink eyes. Their mana organs and pawpads if they have them, are the only thing with a hint of color on their bodies besides their mouth. Historically, Complete Albinos have been the weakest with any kind of magic, and are usually affected with extreme eye sensitivity, and chronic Mana Burn.
- Incomplete Albinos also have a solid, nearly pure white appearance as well similar to Complete Albinos, but they can sport faint markings on their body. Despite having markings, they themselves are still extremely pale, and one must look closely to discern them from their base color. They can have any of the eye colors shown, even pink/red, and purple/pink, and their mana organs and paw colors hold the same rules as their counterparts, with both being very pale and lacking strong pigmentation.
When choosing colours for your Albino character it is important to remember that you must choose colours from the provided palettes and closely follow the guidelines when making your design.
Please be sure to include your colour choices on your application! Members of staff will compare your colours to the palette, so it is important that you ensure they are correctly colour picked.
You may have up to four (4) markings. You may use two (2) secondary colours that are available on the secondaries palette for the markings on the character.
Eye color should be chosen from the available types that are allowed for your type of Albino, colors are provided below for reference.
Legal ✔
• Colour placement should not take up more than 40% of your characters body. Their base colour should be easily identifiable.
• Symmetrical placements count as a single placement. So if you put the same colour and placement on both of your Astralit's front paws it would count as one (1) placement.
• Markings added should not overlap or touch
Illegal ✘
• Mixed-matching inner ears, eyes, or mana organs is not allowed
• Stripes, numerous small spots and overly complex markings are not allowed. Remember to keep your initial design simple, you'll be able to customize it later!
• Albino characters have regularly flesh-toned tongues and mouths. Do not give them abnormal colours like green, blue, etc.
Albinos all use an universal color palette, and do not have access to Tinter. Unlimited colors only unlocks extra secondaries from the Albino palette for the Incomplete Albino type. These finley cannot use standard palettes, or any special MYO palette colors, and are locked strictly to their own.
When breeding, children of Albino parents cannot colorpick from the Albino colors on their parent for base, or upgrade colors
Rarities that add an extra color not on the Abino palette MUST be pastel in nature, with saturated colors needing a 50-80% pure white overlay layer depending on brightness/saturation of the color chosen to make them pastel colored. No colors may be pure white or chosen off the primary palette per the color rules.

Third Eye Gems are also affected by the Albinism mutation, and their special colors can be found below. These colors may not be used for anything BUT the Albinistic Draken's TEG!
TEG Color Options:
