Welcome to the Newbies Guide to the Whistler Crest Lorekeeper!
The new site can be a bit intimidating to navigate at first, so this guide serves to lend you a hand in getting around!
1.) Thie first thing that you'll need to do upon getting your account, is set up an alias! This verifies your account and gains you access to the rest of the LK as a whole.
This can be found here, under /account/aliases in settings! We reccomend linking your Deviantart, due to it being the site we originated from, but you may also use Toyhou.se! Make sure your name matches your name registered in the universal tracker, else your adopts if you have any wont automatically link to your account.
2.) Once you have your account verified, head over to the Town Hall shop, in the Shopping District! You can grab your Base Slots box, and be one step closer to registering your first characters on the site! View how to submit your characters here!
3.) The next thing youll want to do if you're a prexsisting member is to get a bank transfer claim started! Head to the button by your username that says 'Submit' and click 'Submit Claim'. From there, take a look at our Claiming Guide for your pets and general MYO slots! This will be massively helpful in figuring our what to claim for what. Items from your regular bank, and Event banking section should all be on site, and should be included. Please make sure you have a link to your bank in the 'Comments' area of the claim!
4.) Once you have your claim submitted, and your base slots claimed, explore your account a bit! Getting familiar with your account and where everything is is vital to navigating the site properly, and is very useful! Clicking around under https://www.whistlercrest.com/user/youruserhere, and the 'My Account' dropdown menu can familarize yourself with vital site areas, including our site-based DMs system!
5.) Wanting to explore the different pages on site? Head over to the Information Hub under 'World'! This is a master page repository for all the various important things on site that you'll use, and browsing this and the sidebar on the side of the main content will give you all the information on the ARPG that you'll possibly need! From Flora, Fauna, Spirits, and AP to information about how the group runs, various guides about the group, and about the LK itself can all be found under this tab! I also reccomend you take a lil peek at the Lore Library, found under the same tab! This has details about the world that Whistler Crest inhabits, and other tidbits about worldbuilding!
By no means is this an exhausitive guide on the site, but it should be enough to help a Newbie figure their way around just a bit more!
