A Guide on submitting characters on Lorekeeper
Submitting your first MYO on site can definitely seem like a daunting task at first, and it does require a few steps in order to successfully submit a character onto the site!
What you first want to do, is Head over to the Town Hall shop in the Shopping District under "Sales" to claim your first MYO base slot keys. Once you have those, head to your Inventory (click your username, then in roughly the center of the dropdown click "inventory"), and look for the Base Slots Box. You should see an option to "open box", click that, and then your keys will be sitting in your inventory!
With the keys in your inventory,let's see which one we'd like to use! You'll have received a total of 5 kinds of keys, totalling up to 8 keys. We'll be ignoring the breeding items for now for the sake of simplicity. Keep in mind that the pink keys are for astralit, the green for Nyulop, and the blue for Draken. You also have two extra keys; one for an islander Draken, and one for an islander nyulop. These keys must be used to create an islander, while the others keys can be used for either a mainlander or an islander.
Now, similar to the box, click on they key you want to use. In the same place where the box has "open box", these keys have an option to "use slot". Click this to get your MYO slot! MYO slots are the usuable version of MYO keys, and are stored on their own page instead of in the inventory. To find our slot, click on your username again, you should see a small button with a little ticket! Click this to be taken to your MYO slots.
This page lists all the info about your MYO slot, like species, any traits it has, etc. This page is not too interesting for your base slots, so let's just move on to submitting our character! When you're on the MYO slot page, there should be a vertical bar with links on the side, this is the sidebar. In the sidebar, you should find an option for "submit MYO design". Sounds like what we need, because it is!
You will be taken to the below page, simply press "Create request"!
Please note that every one of these tabs must be saved seperately before you can submit. Remember to click "save" when you're done!
MYO approval is further divided into four sections.
Comments
This is for any communication between you and staff! most approvals have forms to fill out! Make sure to add the form here!
If you're transferring in a character from Deviantart, make sure to link the original baby application, and (where relevant) the adult application. Any non standard upgrades should also have proof links provided here.Masterlist image
This is where your character's image goes. It is reccomended to start with your character's baby application, even when transferring in a character from Deviantart.
Keep in mind that the designer section is on-site OR link. You do not need to fill out both fields.
Add-ons
You should not need this field!
This is only used for attaching Rainbow Delights, so unless you are submitting a design update that needs a rainbow's delight, leave this area blank.
Traits
Here, select your characters traits. Most of these are pretty self explanatory- species is your character's species, subtype is your character's subspecies (keep in mind, you can only make a subspecies character with the subspecies MYO key).
The transformation section here might be a tad confusion! This is simply what kind of application you are uploaded. Usually, you will be choosing Baby App, Adult App, or Main Reference. This field should never be left blank. No need to put anything in the origin or notes fields!
Submit for approval!
Lastly, go back to the first tab! If you did everything right, there should be a "submit request" button. This should put your character in the admin queue!
