Everyone's Here
"Hey, hey, hey. It'll be alright. Don't freak out too much." Thing Prismatick assured Li-Ion.
After all, Thing considered it to be practically his job to keep this absolute mess of a young Draken together, and he was mostly sure that this would all blow over and not amount to too much. And even if it didn't, surely nothing bad ever happens to the Prismaticks. However, deep within his subconcious mind, worries stirred nonetheless.
All Li-Ion could muster in response was a weak, "Uh-huh." Li-Ion had every reason to be scared - every other day came with a new bruise from falling out of a tree or some cuts from trying to get the little stone from a needless nettle. And considering how the adults were acting and that everyone was called, things were bad.
Li-Ion noticed something from the corner of his eye. He looked over to find a very familiar Astralit, squinting to the pre-dawn sky, trying to get one last good look at the stars.
Enigma really didn't want to be here. She was bored, it seemed needless, she wanted to sleep in. But she was here anyway. In trying to make this somewhat more tolerable, she drifted towards a Nyulop that clearly was in a similar mood.
"What even is the point of all this, anyway?" Enigma muttered under her breath. To her shock, she got a reply of, "Dunno... seems like a big waste of time." from the Nyulop next to her.
"Yeah. Couldn't agree more." Enigma said back. Perhaps she could stick with this Nyulop for a little longer.
Orchid's first thought was "I'm in trouble, aren't I?" as they left their room at Spring Leaf. As they braced themself for whatever they had coming to them, they noticed that everyone else was going to Town Hall too. Not just all of Spring Leaf, but all the other houses too, and also everyone who wasn't part of a house. And then they got to Town Hall, and saw the adults around them acting... strange.
Whatever was happening was far worse than what Orchid could ever dream of.
"Oh no." Orchid mumbled to themself.
Squid Ink slept late. She also slept deeply. And snored. Everyone meant everyone, even if they were impossible to rouse, though, so it was up to Innsmouth to haul her with the rest of the crew.
"The crew" was three young finely - Saltworth the Captain, Innsmouth, and Squid Ink. And they always stuck together.
Saltworth wanted answers, and she wanted answers now. It was hard enough to speak over her crewmate's loud snoring, but even without that, the adults wouldn't budge, now matter who ske talked to, or how hard she pushed.
Instead of escalating to yelling, she just huffed to herself.
Barben was probably the happiest finely present that morning, which was not saying much. She wasn't fond of the circumstances either, but she was determined to make the most of it.
After all, while writing this season of her personal writing project, Misfortune Isle, she'd killed off too many of her characters and now the cast was looking a bit thin. She needed inspiration for new castaways, and fast.
And with all the finely present, she'd found the motherlode.

Inspired by my experiences going to the airport early in the morning.
