South Warren

Klaedon, Town

South Warren

A relatively large Nyulop town, nestled in the foothills of the Morray Mountains. South Warren is located entirely underground, the entire town consisting of dug-out tunnels reinforced with tree roots.

The trees here are very old and large, leading many of the finley here to live underground. Many homes exist under the roots of a single tree. The tunnel network expands surprisingly far underneath the forest, and there are many exits in case of emergency! It has everything a town should have. The locals here also threw a big festival, which was a welcome surprise for the adventurers, since they missed Starsail!

Warren Tunnels

South Warren is not, in fact, sparse at all! This town is a lot bigger than it first appears. Complex, winding tunnels built between tree roots lead to a vast underground town, branching off to neighborhoods and shops.

Temple

South Warren’s temple, despite being their only above ground building, is well loved and cared for! Many of the Nyulop visit it to learn magic and study Druidcraft. Druidism seems to guide a lot of lifestyle decisions for the Finley here! It’s how they knew there would be adventurers visiting, after all.

Festival

The underground market is part of a larger network of tunnels and underground areas in South Warren, built underneath the vast forest and in between the roots of trees. They seem to have a good relationship with Brydon City. Adventurers were showered with gifts - jewelry, trinkets, and even Blessed Planchettes. These might come in handy at some point…

Finley

The finley here are almost exclusively Nyulop, especially Leporids. The children, while outgoing, seemed to be a bit sheltered and were very curious and excited to have met so many new people! Many of them had never seen Astralits or Draken before. They showered the town with gifts and even threw a festival! What a welcoming bunch!
Ranu is one of the ones who initially greeted the expeditioners, and is very willing to talk with them for any information they might want to know, or just show them to the cool spots in town!
