The sweltering heat of the beasts flames flickered and brushed past sola as she tugged tiredly at the rope tied around the red beast chest. Her eyes glimmered with tears that zipped and streamed past her heavily flapping wings into the darkened sky. The two tangled and intertwined in the sky danced and twirled almost seeming to try and keep the other from falling from the ground. The night was alight with the sights of battle ,and the light of green lames . The monstrous creature in a fit of anger shot another blast of flames past the white drakens face! Sola barely dogged this blast to the point of feeling the flickered embers dappled her face! with a hiss she winced in pain.
“ please calm down! I only want to help you,” she pleaded with a shout . The sight of the injured creature was hard for her to bare . It seemed it had been caught up in the fighting and gained a large gash in its leg along side scrapes to its face. She could tell he was hurting with how stumbled his flight pattern was . In a an attempt to help the creature , to calm and to heal them she had taken a rope and quickly worked to snag the creature. Little did she realize what a trial this would be. Being the injured, frighten , hurt wild animals he was not going down without a fight. The beast was in no way gonna let this pale finely take him down so swiftly once she had ripped him he flew upward ,drawing her into the sky with him. Luckily she had wings as powerful as his . Upward he flew , high up into the sky far away from the ground to dangerous lengths which was no issue to sola. She could easily keep up.
The only problem was when a wave of pain would hit the creature he’d screech in pain and lose focus causing him to lose balance and fall. Sola knew if she didn’t do something to get him to the ground he’d only be hurt worse. Eagerly she tugged at the beast as he fell and fluttered her wings, slowly she bean lowering them down . The pain subsided and once again he was focused on the white finely. He hissed and charged up just before letting out another blasted of flickering flames at her. This time hitting straight into her wing searing it with a deep burn. The pale mama darken cried in pain and curled up slowly rolling into a ball as her eyes winced shut . With the rope loosened the beast lost its balance once more and began to tumble to the ground along with sola tied to the other end. Down ,down down they fall , the beast screeching heavily unable to steady himself. The sounds of the creature in distress awoke sola from her passed out, painful state.
Her eyes flew open and shrank as she realized how close the two had drawn to the ground. With a swift pull of her wings she attempted to fly upward only to have her wing seize up from pain. She winced an eye and shuttered . She wasn’t gonna be able to fly like this but she knew she had to do soemthing or both would parish. Suddenly the sight of red and yellow flashed past her and she realized. The trees! If she could get the roped tied to a large enough tree with a thick enough branch she could save the beasts life and her own. Her head flicked about as the two fell and as she spotted a large tree with heavy branches she acted. She gave one big swoosh of her wings ,and propels herself to the tree. In pain she clung onto the nearest branch, and straight away she tied the rope onto the main trunk,and just as she finished tying the knot the rope tugged heavily at the tree causing it to shake with a heavy thump !
Sola gripped at the tree as it shook and closed her eyes tightly expecting fully to be tossed by the brute force . The loose leaves furiously fell to the ground as the tree settled and the shakeing stopped. The pale female draken slowly opened her Diamond blue eyes and winced down towards the end of the rope. The red balck and striped nostra was screeching and howling angered by being captured but he was safe. He dangled and swung but only fifteen feet from the ground and still had his wounds from his earlier fight but he had stopped falling ,and even if he did fall well it wasn’t at such a dangers height . He was as safe as he could be . She had done it. Weakly she peeled herself from the tree branch feeling happy she had kept him safe, but just as she sat up she felt the burn on her wing sizzle. She winced and curled up again , pulling her wing into herself . This was a serious wound and for certain would need time to heal, but in the end she had saved their lives,and now all she had to do was get him back to good health along with herself now.
