Oh no oh no oh no oh no

Hot-headed. Stubborn. Impulsive. Irresponsible. Aggressive. Rude. Mean. 

These were not descriptors that Orchid would assign to themself. But, upon reflection, these descriptors did apply to their past actions.

They had to finally face it - they simply weren't the goody two shoes golden child they saw themself as.

Not after their shouting match with Horrorscope over the sporepole, and especially not after meeting Squid Ink and bringing them to Tobias so forcefully. 

And on top of this, they were growing. They were getting bigger, taller, stronger.

What if they actually hurt someone? Lost their temper, did something they regretted, something that couldn't be reversed... or fixed. 

They had to do something, get their act together... but they couldn't help but doubt themself.
